Glossary

Plain-language definitions used across ambassadors, referrals, and campaigns.

Platform Ambassador Program vs Business Campaigns

Platform Ambassador Program: Rewards referrals to the It’s Buzzing platform. Payouts are funded by It’s Buzzing and require 35 days of active paid subscription.

Business Ambassador Campaigns: Created by individual businesses. Rewards are defined, funded, and fulfilled by that business—not by It’s Buzzing.

Ambassador

Someone who promotes either the It’s Buzzing platform or a specific business. Rewards, timing, and rules depend on the campaign owner.

Platform Ambassador

Promotes the It’s Buzzing platform. Paid by It’s Buzzing after the referred business stays active and paid for 35 days.

Business Ambassador

Promotes an individual business that uses It’s Buzzing. Rewards are set and paid by that business according to its campaign rules.

Referral

A tracked introduction via link, QR code, referral code, or invitation. A reward is earned only if the campaign’s conditions are met.

It’s Buzzing Platform

The growth platform providing digital cards/QRs, leads, reviews, referrals/ambassadors, AI marketing, and community tools.

Ambassador Campaign

A set of rules defining who participates, what actions qualify, the reward offered, and when it’s paid. Created either by It’s Buzzing or by a business.

Reward / Payout

The incentive for a qualified referral (cash, gift cards, discounts, credits, perks). Amount, timing, and eligibility depend on the campaign.
